Blogher was interesting, but the hanging out with the people afterwards was the highlight. Or at least stare at them across a crowded room, such as dooce and mightygirl who is taller than I thought - don't ask me why I had height impressions from the internet, but apparently I did.
The bloggers I talked to proved that some people really are as fun offline as online. Mindy was funny and bright and I have to say that I felt a special thrill meeting the mysterious Mr. X. I think I missed a great opportunity not picking an internet persona with more intrigue. I had a very un-awkward hug (to me, but I'm no expert) with Melissa. I made a list of blogs than I have to add to my daily reading now when I hung out & laughed with Jenn from Mommy needs coffee, i'm a blogging Meghan, jenand tonic Jen, Mandajuice, Baketown, and one of the few, the proud, the men, the real kato. I'm sure there are others that I missed and will add later. And there have got to be some good pictures out there somewhere. Right now I'm still immersed in the joy of meeting people face to face and finding new witty blogs to read. If only I didn't have work to do.
