Yesterday I received my brand new cookware set.
Today I received my almost brand new (factory refurbished = in my price range) Kitchen Aid mixer. I unpacked my mixer and it's sitting on the file cabinet across from my desk. Scary as it sounds, it actually kind of matches my office's green carpet & green drapes. I get all smiley whenever I look at it. I kind of feel like I just had a bridal shower. Or a single shower. whatever. Some people may have job satisfaction. I have a KitchenAid mixer. Maybe I'll start using it to bake bribes for my co-workers. You must like me! I bake cookies!
What is it about the "KitchenAid"? Mine makes me smile every time I walk into the kitchen. It makes me *want* to bake every time I look at it. Love.

That picture is awesome - it looks all vintage with the mixer and the green. Screw job satisfaction, that mixer is AWESOME!

Can we expect some sample coookies on the east coast?

Between the green mixer and the wood paneling (or what looks like wood paneling) your office looks soooo 70's.

Congratulations! I've had my KitchenAid for more than 15 years and it runs like a dream. Although, might I steer you away from attempting to 'whip' peanut butter (thus making it fluffy and then you use less and it lasts longer) because it doesn't really clean up so well from the stirrer part.
