Just when I thought I was all grown up for shopping at Anne Taylor and waking up early on weekends I go to bay to breakers with a group of people and a keg. Really, it was the keg that did me in. I've walked the race before to see the funny costumes, but this is the first year that I walked with a drinking group. It was a lot of fun, what I remember at least. At some point between beer number five and the champagne, my friend said something that I thought was so witty and funny and embarrassing and I told her it was going on my blog today. Fortunately for her, I can't remember what it was.
Later in the afternoon I was supposed to have a knitting buddy over to knit, but I'm really glad that she canceled because I was in no shape to knit. So here's to pulling a keg across San Francisco, getting drunk at 11 am on a Sunday and passing out on your couch at 3pm.
I did not do a keg stand - I had to drawn the line at juvenile behavior somewhere.
Elisabeth,
Well, I'm proud of you! When you did this race with Karen last year I think you only managed one beer...
Cheers,
-Jonathan

Hilarious! It's kinda nice to be reminded of the juvenile behavior every now and then.

*Makes mental note that Meredith has never done a keg stand and files it under "evil things to set up for Meredith's next birthday"*
