A snippet of conversation from Friday night.
Goose: "..... You blog. Or you used to."
Ouch! I guess that answers the question of how many no-post days I can last before I convert back into a non-blogger. Now don't go berating Goose, In the course of the evening I must have hurled just as many sarcastic statements back at him so I'm sure we're even.
Work: Busy. Personal Life: Not so much, but I've been working so hard that I haven't had the energy to do much social butterflying. I went out with a group of people on Friday and instead of being social and meeting the new people in the group I slunk into a booth and hung out with the people I already knew.
Other Labor Day weekend activities included visiting such exciting places as the Bank! The Gym! and my Apartment! I enjoyed it though. My yarn is aging as I jump back into sewing. Or more appropriately I keep buying more & more fabric and sewing a small portion of it. I swear I just went to the fabric store yesterday to buy a pattern, but all the fabric was 25% off so I had to buy something. At least I resisted going to the second fabric store...
My Great Aunt Ruth, a knitter supreme, has told me of the days of old (1960's?) when companies would dye yarn & fabrics to match so you could sew yourself a skirt to go with the sweater that you're knitting. How cool is that?! Who wants to start a letter writing campaign for companies to start that again?
FYI: new items in both the UFO & Crafty photo albums.
We're not even--with all the crap I get about my taste in jeans, I'd say you're quite a ways ahead.
I think it's nice to hang out with the people I already know. Small talk makes my teeth hurt.
