Coworker Baby Set II

Coworker Baby Set II

Yarn: cotton yarn I bought online somewhere (I forget where) & Size 2 needles
Time: April 23rd - June 21st the sweater was done by mid May. The bonnet about another 2 wks. The rest was my deciding on whether to add buttons or not.
Pattern: a free Bernat pattern: http://www.bernat.com/pattern.php?PID=172&PHPSESSID=9f95e7c47732f1c2a9827fe385245933

Pattern Notes:
- The pattern doesn't have buttonholes so I stressed over adding some after the fact. (Read my June 22nd 2005 entry for more details). I put the buttons a few row in from the bottom & the top and they ended up being every 8 ridge (so every 16th row).
-The arms seemed to start off quite narrow. They stretch a ton so I don't it will limit it's use, but next time I may start with more stitches and do less increases.
-The pattern is knit from the bottom up. It's a raglan to be knit in pieces and then seemed. I did some math and just joined it at the arms and knit it in one piece from there to the collar.
-My sweater ended up looking longer than the picture on the site. I have no idea why. I've already gifted it so I can't check my gauge now.
-This is my favorite thing that I've knit so far. It is so precious. This goes into my mental "if I ever have kids" file.
